AFC Leopards’ Paul Kiongera, Joshua Mawira and Jackson Saleh are back for selection as the 12th placed side look forward to pounce on Ulinzi Stars in their KPL tie on Friday 14 October.

The former Simba SC striker has made just three appearances since joining Leopards, with a display against Chemelil, Thika United and Mathare.

Kiongera picked an injury during their 1-1 draw with Mathare.Jackson Saleh who rejoined the side in June last featured during their Sony Sugar tackle where he was stretched off barely an hour into the game due to an injury.

Futaa reveals Ingwe Coach Ezekiel Akwana says the three have been training with the side but Ian Otieno and John Ndirangu may be unavailable for the Ulinzi clash.

‘Concerning injuries the players who were on sidelines have recovered. Saleh is back, Kiongera is back same as Mawira. Ian Otieno was sick so he has not trained this week same as Ndirangu who has typhoid’ Akwana is quoted by Futaa.

The return of the three will be a determinant to a better performance by the outfit that is eyeing to KPL’s top brass this season. Leopards remain with five league matches including the Oct 23 scheduled tie against their arch rivals Gor Mahia at Nyayo Stadium.
