AFC Leopards interim coach Ezekiel Akwana, Nicholas Muyoti and goalkeepers’ trainer Dick Francis have left the club after Ingwe’s 3-2 loss to Sofapaka in their KPL match played on Friday 28 October in Machakos.

Akwana took charge of AFC Leopards since Ivan Minnaert’s departure in September.

New Head Coach

hallAFC Leopards incoming head coach Stewart Hall (former Azam FC) arrived in the country on Thursday 27 October and is expected to officially take over from 1st November.

 

Six Players Axed

AFC Leopards decided to axe its 2016 top scorer Kepha Aswanni alongside keeper and assistant captain Lucas Indeche, defenders Edwin Wafula who rejoined the club in June, Yusuf Juma, Ugandan Ramadhan Yakubu, and striker Andrew Tololwa.

Aswani is KPL’s joint top scorer with 12 goals.
