Telco’s firm Safaricom has extended Bob Collymore’s tenure as CEO for another two years for successfully ‘navigating the firm through difficult times’.

Safaricom board announced on Wednesday that they are happy with Bob Collymore’s success at the telecommunication firm.

Chairman Nicholas Ng’ang’a said: “we are happy that Mr Collymore has successfully navigated the company through difficult times.”

Collymore’s contract was set to expire in August.
