Hip hop gospel singer, Juliani has released a song dubbed Machozi ya Jana calling for police reforms, and accountability.

Machozi ya Jana is intended to mark last year’s killing of human rights lawyer Willy Kimani.

Kimani – lawyer with the International Justice Mission in Kenya was brutally murdered along with a client and a driver, an incident that has gone to books as one of the nastiest extra judicial killings in Kenya.

By the time of his murder, he was representing a client who had a complaint against the police.

It was suspected that Kimani, his client Josephat Mwenda and driver Joseph Muiruri were abducted and held at the container on June 23, 2016 before they were brutally killed.

Their bodies were later found stashed in gunny bags at Oldonyo Sabuk River a week later.

Four police officers have pleaded not guilty to charges related to the killings.
