Siaya Senator and Nasa presidential alternate agent James Orengo has ruled out any possibilities of IEBC declaring presidential election results any sooner.
Orengo said Nasa agents and IEBC commissioners were held up in putting together forms 34 A and 34 B, to align with the IEBC results, before results are declared.
Earlier, IEBC said they would possibly announce the results by3 :15 pm, if all the forms are availed from various constituencies.
“The process is far from over. We are still putting together all the forms with the IEBC. I don’t know whoever said that the results will be declared soon. It will not be announced until we have all the forms,” said Orengo.
Addressing the press at the Bomas of Kenya, Orengo said Nasa would not accept any results that are not from the IEBC servers.
“If they open those servers and we all look at it, we’re prepared to accept the results that are in those servers,” he added.
Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, arrived at the Bomas of Kenya, where they held a closed door meeting with IEBC commissioners.
Reports indicate that had the view that IEBC must withhold announcing results until all the forms are verified to tally with numbers.
