The National Super Alliance (NASA) leader and former prime minister Raila Odinga on Wednesday announced a change of tact in seeking redress to alleged rigging in the general elections held on Tuesday last week.
Mr Odinga said the opposition will be heading to the Supreme Court to challenge re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta.
He said that Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory was computer generated. According to him, the IEBC permitted an algorithm that created a consistent gap between him and Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta leading to what he terms to be illegitimate victory.
In Swahili, Mr Odinga called Uhuru’s leadership vifaranga vya kompyuta (loosely translated to computer chicks) implying that the voter’s will on who would be their president was cornered.
Kenyans on social media could not hold their peace. They stole the show and we’ve tracked some of the best memes drawn from Raila Odinga’s vifaranga vya kompyuta ‘glossary’.
