Economist and NASA advisor David Ndii on Tuesday hinted that the opposition will call for mass action in protest of an alleged rigging in the 2017 general elections if the Supreme Court fails to rule in opposition’s favour.
During an interview with NTV’s Larry Madowo, Ndii said political progress in the country has been largely achieved through resistance.
Asked whether NASA’s political ambitions were more important than people’s lives, Ndii dismissed any link of their intent with quest for power.
He argued that they were out to fight political impunity.
Ndii said: “If change will not come through the ballot, it will come through the bullet someday. People do not accept subjugation forever.”
