Jubilee Party has been hitting the campaign trail more aggressively compared to their National Super Alliance (NASA) counterparts after the Supreme Court ruling that annulled President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win on September 1.
Most evidently, the ruling side has welcomed a score of defectors from the opposition displaying their all-in-one philosophy in the Kenyan political landscape.
We found interesting emotions of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto as they welcomed former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar (Wiper party) and immediate ex-Kajiado Governor David Nkedianye (ODM).
Hassan Omar is said to be in good working relationship with Tourism CS Najib Balala. Reports indicate he is a key point man of the Jubilee party in Coast as DP William Ruto prepares for 2022 presidential race.
DP Ruto on Wednesday stated through his Twitter page that Jubilee is “a big family and welcome those who share our ideals of unity, peaceful coexistence among all communities and shared prosperity.”
