The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Thursday aggravated its commitment on planned civil resistance.

On October 25 Odinga declared the establishment of National Resistance Movement-NRM in an effort to restore respect and adherence to “the rule of law”, proponents claimed.

The Opposition leader said the movement would ensure there was ultimate disruption of Jubilee government’s authority even after the ruling administration n retained its mandate.

On Thursday November 02, Odinga met Opposition governors and MPs in a push to draw up the next action after Wednesday’s announcement of the People’s Assembly strategy.

They’ve adopted the tagline ‘Resist!’.

The wing, as positioned by the former prime minister is tasked with championing for electoral justice and democracy across the country especially after the fresh election, which he said was a great sham.

He said; “The objective is to resist electoral autocracy by Jubilee regime until a free, fair, credible and verifiable election is conducted in Kenya.”

Majority leader Aden Duale on Wednesday said the creation of the new organ is a true testimony that NASA was out of ideas.

Duale faulted the new formation saying that the Constitution has no window for such assemblies and that it was a waste of time.
