New reports suggest that vocal politician Miguna Miguna has fled the country.
Miguna, a former Nairobi governor aspirant and now an Opposition sympathiser is said to have boarded a flight back to Canada on Sunday night after learning of imminent arrest in connection with chaotic scenes that marred the Raila Odinga return on Friday November 17.
The self-proclaimed National resistance general is said to have boarded a KLM flight to Amsterdam before connecting a second flight to Toronto, Canada.
Known to be a man of no fear, Miguna seems to have left his NRM lieutenants in a wonder zone since they knew nothing of his planned exit.
Before the Friday arrival of Opposition leader, Miguna had called for “a million-man” march of NASA supporters to escort their chief from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
His remarks both through mainstream media and social media were heartless on the Jubilee regime.
On his Twitter page (accessed on 21 November, 2017 at 0900 hours), Miguna ironically states; “Stop running. Arm yourself. Stand your ground. Fight back.”

Soon after President Kenyatta’s caution on Saturday that he would not permit violence to haunt Kenyans, Miguna attacked the head of state. He said Kenyatta was not in capacity to tell the Opposition how to carry out their “constitutional rights.”
Who are you to tell us what we can or cannot do? Our constitutional rights are not given by any individuals; they are inherent & inalienable. Do you understand what that means or I should break it down like I would to my 12-year old? We are coming for you. #Resist #railareturns https://t.co/h8hTkDMaqB
