Churchill Show’s Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill has revealed why he turned down requests by Opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta to feature in his show.
The laughter doctor said both principals had requested to attend his show but he declined because of political reasons.
He told Nairobi News; “Uhuru wanted to attend but I asked him not to, and I explained why. The same case was with Raila.”
Churchill said he heavily assessed the current political temperatures in the country, and felt it was wise to keep the two at bay.
In Churchill’s thoughts, the country is still volatile.
He said bringing either of the country’s largely followed political figures on his show would turn it into a political event.
Kenyans have expressed interesting comments over the growth of Churchill in the entertainment industry.
His mentorship to local talent in the now well paying comedy platform was core at the congratulatory messages seen on Twitter.
Here is a sample of the most remarkable tweets on Churchill at 40 fete.
