Seven foreign tacticians have bided for Vihiga United managerial job.

Reports indicate the team’s Executive Committee has received applications from Frenchman Jean Claude and Portuguese coach Paulo do Santos.

Others are Zoran Pesic (Serbia), Paulo De Saantos (Portugal), Trevor Morgan (Australia), Roy Barreto (Portugal), Giovonni Costantino (Italy) and Enoch Ken Yamonbe (South Africa).

Local tacticians who have expressed interest in the job include; former AFC Leopards coach James Nandwa, ex-Sofapaka coach Ezekiel Akwana, former Haraambee Stars striker Francis Chinjil and ex-head coach of the club Edward Manoah are among the applicants.

Manoah in 2017 trained the Vihiga County sponsored team to winning the National Super League last year which earned them an automatic qualification to the Kenya Premier League.
