The second global Artificial Intelligence summit will be held at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center’s administrative headquarters in Riyadh.

The second Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit, hosted by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), is set to begin on Tuesday under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. He also serves as the organization’s board chairman. The summit’s theme is “Artificial Intelligence for the Good of Humanity,” and more than 10,000 decision-makers, experts, and AI-related individuals are expected to attend. The summit will occur between September 13 and September 15, 2022, at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center’s headquarters in Riyadh, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The summit has been fully prepared for by the organizers, who will discuss all facets of AI, including the present, challenges, and aspirations to benefit from Artificial Intelligence technologies through what participants — including experts and specialists of senior officials from governments and major IT companies around the world — will provide of various presentations that highlight the most recent research and innovations in the field, exchange knowledge, and explore investment.

Examining potential solutions to issues of energy, pollution, and healthcare.

The summit provides an opportunity for interested parties and subject matter experts to take advantage of the gathering of more than 200 speakers from 90 countries in Riyadh under one roof to hear their visions and presentations through their participation in more than 100 work sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, in addition to becoming familiar with more than 40 cases of using AI that will be displayed during the summit by local and international innovative institutions.

The summit’s theme is “AI for the Good of Humanity.” The delegates will discuss “AI Now,” “AI Next,” and “AI Never” to address the world’s most pressing issues, such as the need for more energy, the need to reduce carbon emissions, the unequal distribution of healthcare, and the eradication of the disease.

To address current issues and maximize the advantages of AI technologies, the summit will also cover several topics that demonstrate the effects of AI on crucial industries, including smart cities, capacity building, healthcare, transportation, energy, culture, and economic mobility.

In addition to exchanging knowledge with local and international experts, exploring investment opportunities related to AI technologies, and discussing several fields that can reshape dialogue among technology, policies, and systems to guarantee a unified application for Artificial Intelligence that depends on human input, the event will also address various AI technologies, including the present, challenges, and aspirations towards utilizing these technologies in our daily lives to serve humanity.

The participants will also concentrate on AI ethics and policies to control the sector and stop harm. As part of the country’s Vision 2030 plan, the SDAIA will highlight AI developments and accomplishments in the Kingdom and share its larger vision for the future.

Saudi Communications and Information Technology Minister Abdullah Alswaha, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar AlKhorayef, CEO of Aramco Amin Nasser, Chief Technology and Artificial Intelligence Officer at UNESCO Fengchun Miao, Founder, and CEO of Digital Citizen Fund Roya Mahboob, and Francesca Rossi, IBM fellow, AI ethics worldwide leader, and president of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence are among the prominent speakers at this year’s summit.

President of the SDAIA, Abdullah Alghamdi, stated how pleased they are to foster thought-provoking and engaging debate about the future of AI during this year’s summit. “This event exemplifies our dedication to encouraging debates that will inform commercial, academic, and industry leaders.”

The next iteration of Cypher-2022, which first began in 2015, is here and will be held in person this time. As a venue for hundreds of scholars and thought-leaders in AI-ML and data science to present their discoveries and stories, the conference will begin on September 21 and run through September 23. This year, Cypher-2022 will bring together thought leaders from all facets of the business to discuss the most recent theories, methods, and information that will propel India’s next phase of change in the data revolution.

The three-day event will have a lineup that includes top data-driven technology companies and notable figures like the legendary Kapil Dev, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and best-selling Indian author Chetan Bhagat.
